*Article 49 of the finance law for the 2018 financial year introduced a city tax in tourist hotels for all customers regardless of their nationality over the age of 12; within the limit of 7 nights: 1 dinar for a 2-star hotel, 2 dinars for a 3-star hotel, 3 dinars for a 4 or 5-star hotel, this tax is not included in the room rate and should be paid by the guest upon arrival.
